Acquiring the Greek Language Certificate

The Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies is the venue for the annual Greek exams organized by the Greek Language Center. The exams usually take place in May, this year from May 20 to 22, 2025.

The exact dates and half-days can be found here. The specific times and venues will be announced by e-mail after the end of the registration period.

Registration is possible from February 1 to March 20 via the Greek Language Center's website. Once the examination fee has been credited to our departmental account, you will be admitted to the examination and will receive an examination number and an examination card by e-mail.

Please note that it may take a few days for payment to reach our account and your confirmation will therefore be delayed.

In order to avoid premature registrations, the exact account information and fees will be published from February 1st.
